- To receive certificates of merit scholarships and student achievement “Overcoming difficulties, performing well at school” in the academic year 2013 - 2014 awarded by Vo Truong Toan University.

Whenever Tai Linh sees the hardship and burden of other family members, she promises herself to study well so that her family and teachers are satisfied with her learning results. With her astonishing progress in study despite her difficult student life, in the academic school 2013- 2014, Hong Nga was proudly awarded the three million VND scholarship “Overcoming difficulties, performing well at school”. She is now a fourth-year student with excellent academic results.

Tai Linh has met a lot of obstacles in her schooling because of her poor family. Other family members have to work very hard earn a living. Her family doesn’t have land of agriculture so her father has to work as a motor-taxi driver but his earnings are not enough for the family need. Her mother sells lottery tickets to make little money every day and her siblings had to stop their schooling to share the burden with her parents. Her dream to graduate from university is going to come true thanks to her family scarify.

Tai Linh thinks that we need to have a clear objective in order not to demotivate in our study. She always listens to her teachers’ comments to know which is her strong point to develop more and which is her weak point to improve or eliminate. She also likes social activities organized by the university because she can socialize and learn a lot of knowledge and skills from other students.
