The purposes of new teaching methods at Vo Truong Toan University are developing students’ activeness, using class lessons as good environment to learn new knowledge and share their understanding about the issues raised in class. The facilities at Vo Truong Toan University can support lecturers’ PowerPoint and audio-visual lessons so that they have more time communicating and discussing with students.

Teaching curriculum at Vo Truong Toan University have always been undated to meet the needs of state and foreign businesses in a new world. For years, Vo Truong Toan University has added to the curriculum some subjects of basic skills such as “Skills for communicating and presenting”, “skills for solving problems and group-work”, “skills for job interviewing”… which are provided for students of all majors.

Besides, Vo Truong Toan University also organizes short-term courses which help students improve their job interviewing skill. As the result, students can know more about procedures of applying for a job and office environment to be more confident and well-prepared for their future job.

To help students improve their language ability, the university allows students to choose their favorite English courses, general English only or TOEIC courses. Students who decided to take TOEIC lessons have been taught by experienced teacher since their started schooling here.

To help students apply the theory into practice during experiment classes in the Laboratories, Vo Truong Toan University encourages students to be creative when they work to make up new and traditional medicine or practical products with their teacher’s help consultation. Moreover, pharmaceutical students at Vo Truong Toan University can do their practicum at GMPs, GPPs, and GDPs to be more knowledgeable of real working environment.

Besides that, for successful active-learning classes, School of Medicine – Vo Truong Toan University has recently established a skills-lab equipped with the most innovative learning facilities to serve for the teaching curriculum of medicinal students. The practice at skills-lab is an effective way for medicinal students to get acquainted with and practice competently and accurately on body models or acting patients before they go to an internship or work as doctors in hospitals.
