2.2. Priority Policies

- Trường Đại học Võ Trường Toản áp dụng chính sách cộng điểm ưu tiên theo đối tượng, cộng điểm ưu tiên theo khu vực, xét tuyển thẳng và ưu tiên xét tuyển dựa trên Quy chế tuyển sinh do Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo ban hành kèm theo Thông tư số 09/2020/TT-BGDĐT. Vo Truong Toan University applies the policy of adding priority points according to subjects, areas, direct enrollment, and priority enrollment based on the Admission Regulation issued by the Ministry of Education and Training attached; according to Circular No. 09/2020/TT-BGDDT.

III. REQUIREMENT METHODS AND RELATED INFORMATION

Exam scores between subject combination are used to examine for enrollment equally. The school does not apply additional criteria in enrollment. During the admission time, The School Admission Council may adjust the admission criteria within the same disciplines or between methods in the same major and the time of receiving application documents to suit the actual situation. The School Admission Council receives the application form of applicants until the quantity is full. Public admission information is published on VTTU website (www.vttu.edu.vn). Applicants can apply for multiple majors at Vo Truong Toan University. Applicants can also apply by 1 of 5 methods or multiple methods at the same time in the same major to increase offering opportunity.

3.1. Method 1

Method 1 is based on national high school or high school graduation exam scores. VTTU applies method 1 to enroll for the following majors: General Medicine (General Doctor), Pharmacy (Pharmacist), Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Accounting. These majors are applicable for applicants who are ensured the examination score meets the entrance quality assurance of Vo Truong Toan University or prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Admission test score: is the total score of 3 subjects in the subject combination after adding priority points (regional priority, subject priority if any). In which, high school graduation exam scores (or national high schools) applicants can use test scores of 2021 or previous years for enrollment.

- Time and form of admission procedures: applicants must follow the regulation of Department of Education and Training in each province/city.

- Note for applicants who use the scores of the national high school graduation exam or national high school in previous years to apply for admission (phase 1) at Vo Truong Toan University:

+ Under circumstance that applicants use at least 1 subject using the high school graduation exam scores in 2021 for admission (the rest of the subjects belong to the same subject combination using the scores of the national high school graduation exam in previous years): applicants need to complete the exam registration documents and register for admission according to the high school graduation exam in 2021, based on the regulations of the Department of Education and Training. In the meantime, submitting the application for enrollment according to section IV to Vo Truong Toan University before 4:00 pm on September 5, 2021.

+  Under circumstance that the applicants use all 3 subjects (belonging to the same subject combination) of the scores of the national high school graduation exam in previous years for admission: applicants submit the application for enrollment under Section IV directly to Vo Truong Toan University before 4:00 pm on September 5, 2021.

3.2. Method 2

Method 2 is based on high school transcripts or grade 12^th academic grades or high school graduation scores. VTTU applies method 2 to enroll for the following majors: General Medicine (General Doctor), Pharmacy (Pharmacist), Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Accounting.

- Application requirements and Offering enrollment:

+ For General Medicine (General Doctor) and Pharmacy (Pharmacist), applicants need to qualify the 12^th grade record of Good or above as well as qualifying the high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher.

+ For Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Accounting, applicants need to have a score of 18.0 or higher. The enrollment score is the sum of 3 subjects combination, plus the regional priority score, the subject priority score (if any) and is rounded to one decimal place. In which, the subject scores used for enrollment are the average of the whole year or the average of 2 semesters or the average of 5 semesters or each semester (semester 1 or semester 2).

- Time and form of admission procedures: applicants apply directly at the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University or send by post via courier to the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University: (Address: National Highway 1A, Tan Phu Thanh commune, Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province Hotline: 08.1875.3636) or register online at website www.vttu.edu.vn before 4:00 pm on September 5, 2021.

3.3. Method 3

Method 3 combines the scores of the national high school or high school graduation exam with the high school transcripts. VTTU applies method 3 to enroll for the following majors: General Medicine (General Doctor), and Pharmacy (Pharmacist). The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects combination after adding the priority points, if any (regional priority score, object priority score). Accordingly, in 3 subjects in the similar combination, applicants can register to choose one (or two) subject(s) using the scores of the high school graduation exam (or national high school) combined with the other two (or one) subject(s) which can be used high school transcripts for enrollment.

- Requirements for receiving applications and being considered for enrollment (applicants need to meet both of the following criteria):

+ Criteria 1 (for subjects using national high school or high school graduation exam scores): the score of one subject (or the average score of two subjects) using the high school graduation exam score (or national high school) for enrollment of applicants is at least equal to the average score of the exams/subjects combination according to the criteria which is set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

+ Criteria 2 (for subjects using high school transcripts):  applicants wll need to neet the average score of two subjects (or the score of one subject) using the high school transcripts which must be at least 8.0 or higher.

In which, high school graduation exam scores (or national high schools) applicants can use test scores of 2021 or previous years for enrollment. The high school transcript score of the subject used for enrollment is the average score of the course for the whole year or for each semester (semester 1 or semester 2).

- Time and form of admission procedures: applicants apply directly at the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University or send by post via courier to the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University: (Address: National Highway 1A, Tan Phu Thanh commune, Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province Hotline: 08.1875.3636) or register online at website www.vttu.edu.vn before 4:00 pm on September 5, 2021.

- Note: Besides submitting documents at the VTTU Admissions and Counseling Center, which applicants wish to use at least one subject from the high school graduation exam in 2021, applicants need to complete the exam registration documents and register for enrollment according to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training.

3.4. Method 4

Method 4 is based on the results of the proficiency assessment exam of the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. VTTU applies method 4 to enroll for the following majors: General Medicine (General Doctor), and Pharmacy (Pharmacist). The entrance examination score is determined by the School Admission Council.

- Requirements for receiving applications (applicants need to meet one of the following two criteria): applicants need applicants need to qualify the 12^th grade record of Fair or above OR  qualifying the high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher.

- Time and form of admission procedures: applicants apply directly at the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University or send by post via courier to the Admissions - Counseling Center, Vo Truong Toan University: (Address: National Highway 1A, Tan Phu Thanh commune, Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province Hotline: 08.1875.3636) or register online at website www.vttu.edu.vn before 4:00 pm on September 5, 2021.

- Note: Besides submitting documents at the VTTU Admissions and Counseling Center, applicants need to register for the proficiency assessment exam of the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

3.5. Method  5

Method 5 is based on direct enrollment or priority enrollment. VTTU applies method 1 to enroll for the following majors: General Medicine (General Doctor), Pharmacy (Pharmacist), Business Administration (Bachelor), Finance and Banking (Bachelor), and Accounting (Bachelor). Depending on whether applicants are eligible for direct enrollment or priority enrollment, the Admissions Council will consider placing majors according to the current guidelines and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Requirements for direct enrollment: when applicants meet one of the circumstances which follows Clause 2, Article 7 of the Regulation on enrollment issued by the Ministry of Education and Training together with Circular No. 09/2020/TT-BGDDT.

- Requirements for priority enrollment: when applicants meet one of the circumstances which follows Clause 3, Article 7 of the Regulation on enrollment issued by the Ministry of Education and Training together with Circular No. 09/2020/TT-BGDDT.

- Enrollment procedure, time, and place: Based on the Departments of Education and Training of each province/city; particularly for applicants who are eligible for direct admission as prescribed at Point h, Clause 2, Article 7 of the Admission Regulation issued by the Ministry of Education and Training together with Circular No. 09/2020/TT-BGDDT will need to apply directly at the VTTU Admissions - Counseling Center (Address: National Highway 1A, Tan Phu Thanh Commune, Chau Thanh A District, Hau Giang Province. Hotline: 08.1875.3636).

IV.  REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

Registration documents for enrollment at Vo Truong Toan University include:

(1) Enrollment application form (sample);

(2) Identity card (certified copy);

(3) Household Registration Book (certified copy);

(4) High school Study Record (certified copy);

(5) High school Certificate or Temporary Highschool Graduation Letter (certified copy);

(6) High School Exam Result Certificate 2021 (certified copy);

(7) Certificate of Priority (if any);

(8) For method 4 applicants, you need to hand in the Proficiency Assessment Result Certificate of National University of Ho Chi Minh city (certified copy);

(9) Enrollment fee: 25.000 VND/document. Applicants can transfer the fee directly via post office, or VTTU office, or bank account name as VU TRUONG TOAN UNIVERSITY (exactly the account holder's name), account number 0111,000,303,273 at Vietcombank - Can Tho Branch (Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Can Tho Branch). Applicants need to provide full information when transferring money, including: Full name of applicant, number of identification card, examination major, contact phone number.
