FUNCTION

Organizing and implementing plans for teaching, learning, scientific research, effective management and use of assigned facilities and equipment, educating and training students, and performing other aspects of work according to the Rector regulations.

RESPONSIBILITY

- Developing the training programs, teaching and learning plans and organizing the training process of one or several disciplines; organizing the training process and other educational activities in the general curriculum plan at the Vo Truong Toan University.

- Developing the teaching staff skills, developing the training programs and facilities in the direction of standardization, enhance quality assurance conditions, meet social needs and international integration.

- Coordinating the implementation of admission activities according to the Vo Truong Toan University plan.

- Organizing the scientific and technological activities, actively contact the cooperating international projects; coordinating with sicentific and technological organization, workshops, and companies in order to attach education along with the scientific research and business production into the social life

- Proposing changes in organization and personnel in the faculty; register to receive training tasks of all branches and levels; in charge of the opening of majors and training majors.

- Managing staff, lecturers and students of the faculty according to the decentralization of the Rector.

- Managing the training content, methods, quality, quality management of scientific and technological activities.

- Organizing the compilation of curriculum and course syllabus assigned by the Principal; organizing research to improve teaching and learning methods, proposing to develop additional plans; maintaining the teaching equipment, practice, experience, scientific experiment.

- Coordinating the implementation of political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for staff, lecturers and students managed by the Faculty; organizing the training and retraining to improve professional qualifications for lecturers and staff of the faculty.

- Organizing the evaluation of managers and lecturers in the faculty; participating in the assessment of upper-level managers and lower-level managers according to the University's regulations.

- Coordinating in quality assurance work.

- Perform other duties assigned by the Rector.

PHARMACY FACULTY

In order to meet the pharmaceutical human resources for the Mekong Delta region in particular and the whole country in general, Vo Truong Toan University is the 3rd unit in the Southern region (after the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy) is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to train pharmacy at university and college level from the 2011-2012 academic year.

After a period of establishment and development, the Pharmacy Faculty - Vo Truong Toan University has come into stable operation and become one of the key training faculties. With proper preparation and investment in facilities, modern laboratories system serving health science students has been equipped with equipment and teaching aids that ensure both quality and quantity. Based on the actual needs as well as the school conditions, training pharmacy staff at Vo Truong Toan University initially follows two major orientations management in drug supply and clinical pharmacy.

The cost of training pharmacists is very expensive, which is one of the reasons why there are not many training institutions in our country, and the enrollment quota is very low comparing to other technical majors. Therefore, 100% ratio pharmacists received job offer after graduation. With synchronous facilities, the training program is built based on the framework program of the Ministry of Education and Training, we believe that the quality of training at the Pharmacy Faculty - Vo Truong Toan University meets the requirements of the society's demand.

From the 2012 – 2013 academic year, Vo Truong Toan University operated Practice - Experimental Medicine Center with a total area of ​​​​over 6,800 meter square, which is planned and arranged in harmony with the overall architecture at the Vo Truong Toan University campus.
